Mr Chen and I went tonight. Good viz 20-25ft and 81F water temp. We saw lots of stuff-stargazer, reproducing octos, big southern ray, tiny shrimp--AND MrChen ran into some folks from San Diego where he is from--he has the Chargers logo on his tank....They are here for DEMA. He said that was the highlight this evening!! I was warm getting out, I didn't expect to be! So go this weekend!

Thanks, but I fear he'll be all growed up by then.

THAT one, maybe. But just like pointing you to the rodeo - you have to find your own horse, I can point you to the pasture - you need to find the cow.

Still have a pretty bad taste in my mouth. . .

I know ... we all do. What happened to you was horribly wrong. But I hope you believe there are a few good people in Florida. Not everyone is a thief or a scoundrel.

Really great dive this morning!

Now, are you making the claim that there's a nursery area for these things?? As I think back to all the places that I've run across the various "sponge bobs", it *is* a relatively smallish area, but it's also the same area in which I see the adults of the species. Something different I need to learn about these guys??

Oh, it's not a logical response, just a taste. I'm more logical than most, but not totally so. :D

No, but it's not profiling if more are than aren't......
 Remember somebody just stole the mirror off the wreck!

Come on down Kevin, I'll guard all your spare cameras
:DJohn

ps: the whole bridge area is a nursery for those with keen eyes and luck!

Finally got around to taking a close-up look the other day, ... like it very much!! Talking to the lifeguard dude, all of a sudden my wife goes "What's that, jumping out of the water over there??" Turned out to be a small Spotted Eagle Ray, doing a little 'ballet' along the shore ... Can't wait to get my cam wet!

I don't go to the bridge with enough regularity to identify individual lifeguards but looking back I haven't been impressed with our past "conversations" especial with the snorkel nazi.
Hope you have a great dive there.
John

The 'Snorkel Nazi', ... sounds intriguing.

I picture a blue eyed blonde dude sitting on his lifeguard chair, short little 'stache below his nose, however instead of the more traditional pickelhaube he has a snorkel stuffed through the top of a beanie while wearing his Got Mit Uns speedos, handing down proclamations. "NO DIVE FOR YOU!!!!"
