Thank you Jim! We will be there again today. Can't miss me.. Bald and ugly. Working with Phil has been awesome. He is extremely knowledgeable, a great teacher, and a hoot to hang out with.

We will be there Monday, also bald and ugly and on top of that--short!! There's a restaurant near our house named Conchy Joe's. Just catch an extreme incoming tide and go north 45 miles, it's on your left................

After 3 days of digging and breaking big rocks into little rocks to prepare for a new driveway I escaped the chain gang for a Sunday morning dive.
Vis 1.5 hours prior to peak high 20-30 ft, temp 84, people; everywhere!!!
You know your getting jaded when you swim by octopus, sea robins, flying gurnards, batfish, jawfish etc. because: "there not doing anything special".....
Had a great time and like every dive at BHB we learn more about critter behaviors that only continued quality time can produce.
Highlights for me was feeding eagle rays in close, large school of reef squid in formation and the extremely large women in the extremely small bikini that thrashed over me in 4 feet of water (wow) that will stay with me awhile.....
Some things are better left unrecorded for all concerned.....
Bonus points if anyone can ID the weird pseudo critter in the last pic, it was on a hydroid and we thought it might be a micro nudie but now have no clue....
(Ann if your still out of country we will await your input......) and Flabellina dushi??? pg. 238 (shameless plug redux)

LOVE the juvi cowfish!

Hey Bob, I didn't know you have been secretly posting up pictures from the class!

I am pretty happy with my improvements. Now I just need to practice and practice some more. Here are some from Day 3.

There is one alien looking snail I couldn't figure out. Can someone tell me if that green thing between the two pods is a tongue? It seems to go in and out licking...

Thanks Phil for an awesome class. I am pretty tired but am now in Key Largo and waiting for my 4-dive day tomorrow *yawn*.

Have fun in Largo G, great hanging with you and the gang!

I'm thinking about heading up there today for the noon high tide, but the entire area is surrounded by thunderstorms! Do any locals up there have an idea of whether the storms will pass by noon? Thanks!

I find that if I hit "play" on this site, I can be a pretty accurate weather man these days. Intellicast - Interactive Weather Map Doesn't look like the big green area is moving much, so noon looks wet. Like Sandra, I also dive the bridge in any weather.

Very nice. So, what were the big break-throughs? What did you learn that you didn't know before?

Susan has one from the bridge she called it a juvenile buffalo trunkfish but it was only a few feet from the chickpea sized orange "spongebob". Very cool. Any progress on your camera, thought I saw your flag Sunday out under the boats.
