While trying to catch this nudie on hydroid waving around I spied a wee saddled stargazer!
Awesome, next to invisible....
Needs a red arrow..

Out on the algae shallows we found a tiny black cardinal or conch fish???
Foraging in the darkness of the shallows.
Way cool.....

Very nice dive, 72 degrees and not too crowded.
Saw some regulars and a few new things like this lumpy Eroded Mud Crab....

Sounds like a magical dive, John.

*** Warning -- Posting way too many pictures in one thread ***

First off, thanks to Boynton Beach Dive Center for hosting the night dive and jar546 for bringing me the parking pass!

Spent most of the dive out in front, and then in an area I now call "Nudi Nightclub" or "Nudi Club" for short. Tons of nudis every time I go to this spot at night.

Mostly took photos of nudis and a few shrimp. Shrimp are in style these days at the bridge.

Kevin I apologize for finding so many things on this dive.

This photo deserves to be full (low res) size. :D

Some more nudis/slugs:

OK, more pics. Here are a few oddities. The interesting thing is this pipefish-like creature who swam right up to the camera and hung out for a bit.

Also, you could be swimming along and come right up on an eagle ray that was just relaxing on the bottom....how odd!

My guess is your pipe like fish is a juvi bluespotted cornetfish. Sweet find.

Your photos are outstanding. Excellent finds. Haven't been real excited to do a night dive up there, but maybe now I am... gotta figure out how to set the camera up...
