Did the Force-E night dive with 3 friends.
Dive went okay, this was my second time at BHB, and our navigation was pretty poor. We ended up not seeing much, considering what BHB contains. It was a wonderful way to work on my buoyancy/task loading with a VERY annoying reel, and my mask flooding.
My buddies were nice, but a little inattentive. I was flailing my light for a good 20 seconds as a eagle ray swam by.
We all saw a sting ray, which was kool to see.
I got to see ScubaJim!
:cool2:
we went east (I wanted to go west), and never really got to the area where the good stuff is (or should be, Ive only been to the west half)
It was a pretty disappointing dive.
However I think that is my first time seeing a manta ray in person. What is the purpose of their long tails?
PS- I was totally prepared to spot octopus's and maybe even seahorses, but we didnt even get to any decent area that they live in. Mostly swam over sand
BLEH!
