Ray tails are a favorite delicacy of sharks, they often find the barbs in their stomachs.
Having never seen a shark at the bridge it begs the question, whos doing it but yes very pegnant ray without tail......

no that was another killer nudie we have found a few times so I would be amped up more to see the Jenuchis babilonia

It's 3pm, I'm FINALLY checking in today . Depends on how motivated I am. Problem with my line of work is the faster you do it the more they give you, and there's never a shortage of things to do. I'll explain more on our next dive

We found a nurse shark under the east bridge a couple of months back, so they are there.

A lovely morning dive...I was invited by a friend and said what the heck and took off from work. My computer read 85 degrees and viz was excellent....maybe 40'ish? Plenty of jellies in the water but I was using SafeSea and didn't get zinged (also very little boat traffic to chop them up).



Joanie, I am deeply grateful for the guidance. Apparently, we have to have Jenny along to see Stargazers...

There was also a really nice froggie, but note to myself: Don't take a picture of a camouflaged fish against the rock he is imitating...

Very nice viz and temp today at BHB. I had 84-86F. on my Suunto and viz about 35-40ft again today--we may go tomorrow even though it IS a weekend!! We saw a gigantic Southern Stingray and a smallish Eagle Ray--very nice. The southern had 2 attendants that were bigger than the larger barracuda we see at the bridge. The seahorses had saddled up today too---AND the Diva found a newish BC for a friend 4 sale at a good price!!! Ane here I thought bilsant's report of 85F yesterday must be wrong, I'm happy to report it was not! Amazing--and AT LAST!

Yes! Love that warm water! Good diving with you again. And thanks for that little hose thingie part. Billy put it on for me. Wouldnt let me watch. Made me leave the room. Something like it didn't fit and he had to use some kind of really big hammer to make it fit. It's on there. Guess I will find out tomorrow how it works. Wish you could join us.

Upon arrival watched 1 snorkeler get out with his lobster gear and something in his bag.

Near the shopping carts found 2 guys with a pole spear. I surfaced and asked them to kindly remove it as it is not allowed.
