I was there on Sunday morning. Got there early and thought it might of been silly to be there so early. Turns out it was a good move. It was my buddies first dive in 8 months and some personal stuff, and since mid March for me. We both were eager to dive! Right away we found a seahorse. Later on we found octopuses, garden eels, upside down jellyfish. Vis was maybe 10-15 ft., current ripping at the beginning. It was an awesome dive...

Sucky photo. Long list of ughs... but check out those eyelashes!!!!!!

Hard to tell that this is the back end of another hermit crab.. 3 anemones on one crab.. the blue.. oh my!!! so brilliant! Camera does not even come close to how vibrant it was.

I think it's a planehead filefish. About an inch long

Great photos. Thank you. Camera model?

Just frame captures from a GoPro Hero8 video with a snorkel filter attached. I’m as low tech as they get!

get there early

Also, last time I was told by the lifeguard not to enter waters where before all divers went in (the deserted beach area next to the dive site), suddenly it is now a designated kayak launching area... no divers allowed. I was told to jump almost under the bridge as the scuba entrance point. Is it still valid?

I typically enter just west of the guarded swimming area under the bridge just south of the shower. Never had an issue.
