I'm considering a trip down over the weekend of May 7-8. Is there likely to be a night dive available, with high tide at 9:54 pm? Or is that typically too late at night?

Night dives are scheduled for May 5th and 6th. Yes, that is too late as it is said we need to be out of the park at 10:00pm. There may be someone running a boat dive.

Grr. Thanks.

Jim - we're thinking about going over to your coast if the viz clears up. Mind giving a report when you're done?

Viz today, Friday; was 15-20ft with very much reduced viz after hi tide, so get in early. 75-76 degrees.

Today, Saturday; was a little better. 15--20 ft of viz and a bit less milky. Temp same 75-76. I saw one tiny octo in a tiny burrow in the sand like a mantis shrimp or it's brethern make--It looked like a rabbit sticking it's head out of a hole.........viz not so much reduced after tide changed.

Sunday better yet--viz 25ft--but temp down to 75....Parking full and police patrolling, FWC apparently warned some collectors we saw on the snorkel trail.

2 new trolls today! We went west, vis about 20, lower after the tide change, water temp 75°. Got there early and glad we did! That parking lot filled up fast!
No photos. :( I got in the water, looked at the camera and saw some moisture. Figured it better to be smart than lucky..
