My hubby/buddy and I are planning a trip to dive Blue Heron Bridge this weekend... March 14 and March 15.

Tide times look good with

Saturday March 14 high tide at 11:54 am
Sunday March 15 high tide at 12:34 pm

Our plan is to dive both days and stay over for the night.

Does anyone know of any nice but reasonably priced hotels in the area? Also, does anyone have any suggested places for air fills nearby? I think Force-E is nearby, but I've not been there before, and want to be sure the place we go to is O2 Clean. Anyone have any good suggestions for a yummy seafood restaurant as well?

Of course we'd love to have others join us... It's a really fun dive, with tons of great things to see.

I'll be at the bridge at least one of those days, and I'll likely be getting my air at Force-E. They do partial pressure blending so they have "clean air"

There is a little mom and pop motel on the east side of the small bridge. The benefit of staying there is that you can night dive from the shore without getting in trouble with the park rangers.

Force E is a good shop, and they do nitrox, so they will have clean air for you. My favorite seafood place was the Crab Pot on the west side of the big bridge, but that is gone.

I was there this past Saturday and Sunday. I will probably be there this weekend as well.

I found teh place I was talking about.

I just searched for them on the internet... they don't seem to have a website. and the reviews I found don't sound good at all. Most are saying the place is very dirty, and the service is poor?

Have you stayed there, did you find that to be the case?

Thanks... I really appreciate your input.

Nope, I've never stayed there. We live close enough to the bridge so that I can drive there and back for dives. That's a shame to hear about the place then it's not the best of neighborhoods.

I have a friend who works for Marriott, and she just got us a great rate at a local hotel, it's about 2 miles from the bridge, so we'll be staying there... thanks for your help.
