This was my experience also...crowded, poor facilities for all that $$, staff didn't seem to thrilled...actually more irritated. Got down to ~95 feet, but once is enough.

JaxDiver

g8trdiver once bubbled...
I was just at BG a month ago. I'm still trying to figure out what the big attraction is/was. Steep, uneven stone steps (no railing), and slanted wooden steps onto the floating dock (imagine navigating all this while the steps and you are wet, carrying and/or wearing gear)....

In fact, while we were waiting on the dock, a woman at the top of the steps did fall, we could hear the "bumps" from the floating dock. She was evidently seriously hurt - we could also hear her sobbing from where we were on the dock. Someone said she'd broken her ankle.

There were multitudes of new divers being certed and silting up the water... and the most interesting things to look at are grafiti and catfish.

I suppose it must be nice if it's calm and not too busy.... but I would not go there again.

I sincerely hope that no one was injured in the cave-in.
