Actually when I dive warm water I just don't wear anything, but around here it's too cold to dive without a hood.
Actually I haven't had any problems since I made the slits in my hood. And since I stretched the hell out of it as suggested earlier in the thread, it only overlaps the mask on the top now a little, not on the sides anymore.
