I'm ready to book Blackbeard's weeklong cruise going out on Oct. 16. This is the middle of hurricane season but I've heard that, bar an actual hurricane, the water is calmer than average. I've been on Lake Michigan in 8-12 so I don't think it will be a problem. Anyone done mid-Oct. before?
I've done the search on this board and have on my packing list: 2 towels, 2 shorts, 4 t-shirts, sweat shirt & pants, 3-4 swimtrunks, 3mil fullsuit, gloves, booties, 3mil hood (need to buy), dive light (buy), raingear, seatpad, mug, toiletries, clips, bungees, dive camera & plenty of memory, sunscreen, sunglasses w/ lanyard, deck shoes, standard dive gear & dive-saver kit. Anything else?
Anyone else going feel free to contact me. Man, I'm pumped about this trip!
