I have a red HOG wing, red flashlights, red tank flasher and red fins. I like it, it's my gear, if they don't like it then they can splash after me and not go my direction.

Go with what you like! I would do orange,

I would prefer YELLOW because it is easy to be spotted from distance when lost at sea. My smb is orange.
