Through scubapro, faber has marketed black LP tanks in the past.

I like fishnet myself, for that naughty diver look.
That must be what I saw... I remember it being a black LP tank. So I wasn't entirely nuts. Probably going to be tough to track one down, though.

I wish he would just learn to love hot dip galvanized finishes as much as I do...

So, jokes about his ridiculous desire for fashion statement tanks aside, any other input? Anyone ever stumble across one? Perhaps I'll see if there's any way to contact Faber...

The 2 tone black and white shoulder conforms with european CEN.EN 1098-3 requirements meaning the tank is for air and nitrox service. Black for nitrogen, white for O2, and brown for helium.

Being european standard tanks, I'm not too sure if they have DOT stampings on them.

Hey, those are pretty spiffy!

But the white would kill the deal for him, even if they were DOT approved (which they're not). Stupid military types and their need for stealth gear even in the off-hours...
