I just finished diving and am currently on a one hour drive to the airport hotel. I made the mistake of putting on a catheter with glue without shaving down first.

While it stayed on, I can't get it off with ripping out hairs. It's sore and itchy and with an hour drive I'd figured I'd ask now the best least painful way to remove it and hopefully will have some answers by the time I arrive.

Thanks and yes I'm ready for the jokes,.......I think.

Ouch!
Warm bath?

Adhesive wipe if you have one... lol

Mineral oil, fingernail polish remover using one of those cotton makeup remover pads

Alcohol wipes, makeup remover wipes, ... goo gone

Walmart Pharmacy carries a GooGone medical adhesive / bandaid remover solution.

Walgreen has Olive & June Press-On Remover, 2.03 fl oz which is basically acetone and works best.

You left out peanut butter and…I’ll just leave it at that…

Have dogs... so that's not a good idea in my book. 😂😂😂

I have tried most of the above at one time or another, to the point where I almost have ptsd putting one on again! HOWEVER, I recently discovered baby oil and it is a game changer, it loosens the adhesive without leaving the sticky residue for days that other solvents leave. I now dress without fear!
