I've ridden a few but I am looking for popular opinion on who runs the best day boat to Catalina.

I am looking to address the following;
At least 3 tanks.
Quality of food.
Gear storage.
Camera care.
Deck space.
Load limits.
Departing San Pedro to Dana point.

Price is not a major concern though most of my students dont want to poney up for 6 pack prices. :11:
Quality of service is a concern. On one boat I was told to "Give me a break, I am pulling a double shift and I am beat." Just what my wife and students want to hear.
on another boat I was told "Thats just how she is. She has been doing this for a long time. She does'nt mean anything by it.":no
I crew on a few private fishing yachts so my expectations may be higher than normal. Though I only expect what I would do myself.

Who should I try? Just got the wife a new wet suit and she is ready to go back in the local waters.

Thanks for your help,
E :D

The Sea Bass is a good boat helpful crew & does 3 tank days. The food isn't the greatest but it's ok. It carries 12 to 16 divers & the price depends on # of divers.
