Wow - Unanimous support for Fill Express :-D And they even rent steel 100s

I don't dive nitrox very often (but maybe I should convert ;-)) since 95% of my dives are shallow beach dives - <snip>

I beach dive a lot and use 40%. Why? Cause I can. Price the same for 21% as 40%--Gimmie the high test!

I'll put in another vote from way north of the FL border. On the one time I dove in Pompano we got our fills at Fill Express. I was quite impressed by their operation and how they handle things. Definitely not the typical LDS -- better focused and IMHO better operated. I wish we had operations like that around here.

Fill Express can give you a FULL FILL without incurring the problems of wet fills. The counterproductive practice of wet filling in the SCUBA industry is declining, but still common even in the face of strong arguments against the practice. I'd settle for 7am to 7pm 6 days a week and 11am to 3pm on Sundays.

Force-E is a great shop also, you will typically get cheaper air fills (and more convenient hours)on an empty tank since they charge a flat rate. Nitrox cost also depends on how much volume you need. While I think that both are outstanding operations and have EXCELLENT customer service, you may end up with a short fill on an HP tank if you fill at Force-E Boca which does not do wet fills. Pompano does wet fills and always goes for the double tap and have never had a short fill there. FillExpress fills them hot and I've never had a tank that was less than my fill pressure (usually 100psi or so over).

I won't get my tanks filled at any place but Force-E or Fillexpress. Although I've had a few at Divers Direct in the past which is about an hour long process.

I love FE! Extremely helpful staff no matter what your questions may be. The only thing that could improve are the hours, but their service really makes it worth it to squeeze them into the schedule. They even have online gas fills:

My 1st choice is Fill Express! After that I go to Force E if it is before 10am or after 6pm or on Sunday when Fill Express is closed.
