Best Dive Sites In Indonesia?

I've been to Wakatobi three times... and kept going back because the diving is wonderful and the experience of being at the resort is nearest to being on a live-aboard without being at sea all the time. Reefs are pristine and prolific, dive operation is first rate, rood is excellent. Not alot of big stuff... occasional sharks and lots of turtles... but the corals and schooling fish are wonderful. And through in exotics like cuttlefish, pipefish, nudibranchs, and pygmy seahorses, and you will marvel at the diversity.

David, Just wanna know where you stayed. Was it at the Wakatobi resort or the one on the one Hoga?

Raja Ampat, Misool, Komodo are truly great sites.... but not recommended for divers who are not used to or do not like diving in strong currents.

Diving in Bali might be advisable to the more novice diver - as the operator can take you to easier sites.

Actually there are great novice sites in all places. No problems with Novices in Misool, Or Raja Empat, just advise the operator to dive in currents........Have taken many a novice diver in all of these locations but pick the site and time....
