Hello! I'll be staying in Sanur next year for 3 months, and am hoping for some advice on easy spots to snorkel or solo (shallow) dive at. I know Sanur isn't the best place on the island, but that's where i'll be, and do i plan to travel around a bit for some better diving while i'm in the country. But what i'm ideally hoping for is there would be some decent enough spots to hop in the water for an hour on a decent reef, maybe do a little macro photography, and walk/bike back home. Doesn't have to be big animals, or wall dives, or anthing like that, just some accessable nice reef with decent enough life (especially macro) to keep one occupied on a morning outing. Any advice out there?
Thanks!

I've never seen or heard anything about shore diving from Sanur...though I've always been curious about it. The shallows off the main Sanur Beach look inviting and on morning beach walks, I've seen cylinders staged at various points. I wasn't able to confirm if these were for beach dives or boat trips to Lembongan/Penida. Just be aware of the dramatic tidal changes at this location if you do try this area.
