Beneath the Sea - Discounts on Equipment

Hi all, new diver here looking forward to attending 1st Scuba show. For anyone who has attended this show, can you inform on the size of typical discounts on the purchase of new gear? I know it depends on the brand and so forth, but if most of the Scuba shops are there, would the prices not be typical of their stores, during a sale? Or are there deep discounts? (I am coming from CT for the day anyway but just curious)
Also, would you suggest bringing prices from Leisurepro.com as a good comparison?
