Hi, I'm a beginner and haven't and won't be able to test out my new camera kit for a while so I figured now would be the time to learn the ins and outs of all of my equipment. I recently bought the YS-d2 strobes and was practicing on land using TTL mode- however after reading many posts, Manual will be the way to go for Wide Angle etc.

Are there any good sites/books/resources anyone recommends for me on understand the concepts an principles of using manual mode? Thanks

Underwater Photography Masterclass by Alex Mustard is a good one for lighting - TTL and manual, techniques for all manners of shooting.

Oh OK awesome I have that book coming in the mail, just finishing up Martin Edges Book

Remember that for wide angle (not so much for CFWA) your strobes will only be illuminating something close to you while you must rely on God's light for most of the photo.
