Nice pix Jenny... The viz was awesome that day!

Yes it was.
Rob, did you shoot those photos on your boat dive?

Rob has turned in to a Radical Photog! Some very nice shots indeed!

Nice! Wishing the lionfish was dead though..

I forgot to demo my patented Drop Rock on Lionfish (DROL) Destruction Technique!

You lost $$ on the patent. It doesn't work.
I tried a 4lb soft weight from 6" above and missed..

Literally saw at least 4 individuals on a 50 minute dive in 30 fsw.., I say at least 4 because I know I saw 6 or so lionfish, but maaaaybe 1 or 2 were the same one seen in 2 different spots. All except 1 were out in the wide open, without even the decency to hide... it's as if they knew we didn't have spears :p There was one that I saw down in a hole- all the rest were brazen little jerks. I registered for an e-seminar on lionfish collecting in one of the topics here on scubaboard. I knew already they were a malignant invasive species - but was pretty surprised to see so many of them in one spot on a reef dive. Scary ...

There are a lot of lionfish clinics that teach you the basics of hunting lionfish.. what to look out for, how to handle them, etc.. worth the time to attend one.
