TLangston - I have the Canon S1 with Canon underwater case. About $500 total. $310 for camera and $160 for case. I would NOT buy on ebay. Too many online shops that can match ebay for price and get a warrantee. Check out the SB Canon corner and Oly corner. Both have great info on their cameras. Particularly what to set the manual setting for when taking pics underwater. How to deal with the picture delay times and other issues with underwater photography. Also, look for Altered Realities for info how to fix the pics. You are stepping into a enjoyable and frustrating area of diving.

How big a Flash Card? How many pics do you want to take before downloading? I take many pictures. Up to 60 pics on a good dive. I would not select a Flash Card less that 128. Mine is a 256. Since they are so cheap, I would recommend 256 or 512. Some of the cameras can take short video clips. This chews up space in a hurry.

Enjoy - Tom

Thanks Tom, I will search more in the Canon forum. What am I looking for again in the Digital Darkroom?
