Hey guys,
Looking for reccomendations about dive companies and sites in Portugal specifcally for a small group of beginners (less than a year expierence only a few dives). It would have to be in the Lisbon area. Any help/ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

Get in touch with the people at Submersus (Submersus), even though they are located in Porto region they can direct you to good people in the Lisbon region.

Great thanks. Any specific locations you'd reccomend?

I lived in Lisbon for 3 years but I wasn't a diver when there. I have heard that the Berlengas Islands close to Peniche and Obidos (1:15hours driving from Lisbon) is a beautiful dive destination.

For beginners, around Lisbon, head south to Sesimbra!
You have several dive centres there, but take a look at Anthia Diving Center / https://www.facebook.com/AnthiaDivingCenter?pnref=story

and

Dive Club Cipreia / https://www.facebook.com/cipreia?fref=ts (since they don't have English website, their email is info@diveclubcipreia.com)

Berlengas is nice, but more exposed, sea conditions can vary more, there can be some waves and currents. It does have a few protected sites. AcuaSubOeste - O seu centro de mergulho em Peniche (or http://www.haliotis.pt/ but I don't like this centre that much)

Great thanks for the advice guys. I am actually staying in Obidos so Berlengas is real close but I will give Sesimbra a look too.
