Waterdog
I had the same concerns before I took the plunge, used to sit in the boat and fish while the mates did thier dive. Wasted 10 yrs doing that, but making up for it now.

I always wondered what my reaction to would be when coming face to face to a noah's ark. I didn't realise how few you see down there in fact I saw none in about 6 months. I thought if they wont come to me Ill go to them. So it was of to Underwater World for a shark tank dive. Well fed sharks in nice cold water that's for me. It was the best thing I had ever done. You dont dive you walk around, double weight belts hold you down and the sharks come to see you. Hot tip be the first in, makes you the last one out :) :) and dont go to see the sharks in the normal way(public viewing) first,do that last.

I've got some really nice outlines of dives in my logbook I don't suppose I could convince you to write the rest of the story could I? :D Guess I could spend my ENTIRE surface interval as well as the drive home logging my dives like yours, then even my non-diving friends could enjoy them! GREAT STORY!
