I was wondering if there were any beekeepers on the board? While moving hives today one thing came to mind. No matter how bad things get. When diving or working with bees you cannot panic.

I've had a couple stands of bees in the past couple years. It is becoming more and more difficult to keep them through the winter though. I loved doing it, but after I went to college, I haven't really had the chance to work with bees too much. Hopefully when I graduate in May '08, I will be able to spend more time diving and beekeeping.

Where in Western NC do you live? I'm from Winston-Salem, go to school at Chapel Hill, and I'm currently in Wilmington doing rotations. I don't suppose I could get much farther east, could I? LOL

Now there is two things I would never associate together.:D

While my husband was growing up he lived in northeastern Montana. He used to say, one of his most lucrative summer jobs was working on a bee farm.
