Any feedback on diving these springs?

Becton Springs
Jackson Springs
Ponce de Leon Springs
Cypress Springs

Thanks

Only cypress is worth diving at OW level, IMO. NEed a boat to get to it though. MArianna is ok, but mostly cavern to cave, Not much OW other than snorkeling the pond. Pick up Underwater Guide to Florida. Also plenty of info at my website.

Ponce Deleon springs doesn't allow divers, only snorkelers.

Becton is a little silt bowl with several small vents and a max depth of 30'ish. We use it to put us back in our places after diving Cypress, which is beautiful and worth the effort to get there and dive.

The Mill pond is fun to goof around in(OW), but shallow. If you like looking at bream, bass, crawfish and hydrilla - you'll have a great time.

I SO MUCH have got to do JB this year ...

Gotta , gotta , gotta ...

I don't know if you can dive Jackson. I have treaspassed every road I could find, even the states No Treaspass signs and could only get within a quarter to a half mile of it. You would probably need to hump it in.

Er , are we talking about Jackson Blue?

There's a public park at Jackson Blue... There's a diving board sitting right ontop of it. The public access is open seasonally, but divers are allowed with land access via the Sherrif's Office(to get the key with proof of cave certification)... or drive a boat out and go from there.

No not Jackson Blue, Jackson Spring, about a mijle south of Ponce De Leon srping on the same run. I may have been to it humping it in off the rest area while fishing. there are several good size holes, one with a flow, none of I think would be worth hmping gear into.
