Anyone up for a dive on Sunday? I"m thinking of the jacks off of John Loyd Park (a little north of Dania Beach Blvd on the A1A). Single tanks, say about 9:30am?:D

Michael, sorry but I'm bicycling tomorrow...unless it's raining in which case, if it isn't a bad storm, I'd be up for a dive...hey, we're going to get wet anyway, right? :)

I got your message really late this morning, sorry I couldn't join you but we were still celebrating BF's birthday. I hope you got out there and had some fun!!

If you go tomorrow, remember that it is a REALLY long swim and/or walk to the jacks...but it's a beautiful dive.

Yes, and it is a long long long walk from car to water's edge. At least it is for this old lady who has a bad back! :)

Hi, any of you up for a dive next Saturday Oct 14th? Anywhere in Fort Lauderdale area?

Lilo :)

Sorry i have to work a Fire Safety Pub Ed Event at work. These things always pop up when I plan to dive.

Did a dive today on the Jacks. GREAT vis, about 45+ feet once you get out in about 30 feet of water. Seas really flat, and should be for Sunday morning so vis may be even better.

Among other things we saw a 5 ft nurse shark and a sea turtle with a shell about 3 foot across.

Yes, It's a long walk, even from the 1st parking lot at Lloyd, (which is open, yes), but still cool stuff.

Michael, I'm glad you got out, it sounds like a fantastic dive!!!

Sorry but I'm out of the water next weekend. This weekend was BF's birthday and next weekend is my birthday. Yes, the old fart is a whopping eight days older than me. :) Today we went to the auto show (where I would only look at vehicles that can haul diving stuff!) and next weekend we're going to the west coast to see friends and family. If I change my mind about next weekend I'll let y'all know. The thought of diving on my b'day is intriguing, but we have previous plans.

p.s. I fell in love with the brand new Acura RDX today, what a great car!!! A luxurious turbocharged SCUBA gear-totin' vehicle!! Too bad I can't afford a new car for another three years...but a girl can dream, can't she?

Damn, I just remembered that my wife is doing her OW dives next weekend, so I'm going on the boat with her. I'm REALLY looking forward to having a "built in" dive buddy at home. :)

Sounds like you had a fun day Debs! We can always do a dive the weekend after next.

I'll let you guys know about the dive tomorrow. :)
