Hi, I bought a Dive Rite travelpac and our local distributor says they comes with the 12" corugates hose and a short inflator hose.

However, I've replaced the corugated hose with the 16" one.

Now I bought a set of Atomic Regulator and I found out that the BC inflator hose is too short.

Can I send the inflator hose to Hydraulic specialist to reclamp the fittings onto a fuel hose. Fuel hose are internally nylon braided and can withstand more than 3000psi.

Can anyone please advise?

I don't see why not since you're not going to be breathing from your BC so no concerns about rubber smell etc. It's on the low pressure side anyway.

Another option - although you'll likely pay more for shipping/customs than the cost of the hose is: https://www.divegearexpress.com/bc-inflator-rubber-hoses

why would you replace the inflator with a longer hose?

Your dealer should be able to sell you a longer inflator hose for around $20-$25 USD, but I would seriously recommend going back to the shorter inflator hose. There's no reason to make them longer.

Thanks...

Thanks for the reply. Because it's supposed to pair with the short corugated hose and i have replace the corugated hose with a longer one because it kinda restrict my movement and it's difficult to inflate my bcd orally if required.

So now, i figured the inflator LP hose might be pulling my inflolator.

What length are you looking for? A 22"?
Yeah. Around 22"
Just buy a longer hose BC hose. Any number of online options or buy a longer one from your LDS. This really isn't hard.

Here's an example: https://www.divegearexpress.com/bc-inflator-rubber-hoses

Six different lengths to choose from.
I was just looking for a cheaper alternative. [emoji16] [emoji16]

I know buying a new hose is ideal. But i was just trying to find alternative.

Thanks for ur advise.

if your hydraulic shop can do that then no problem, but I don't usually trust clamped fittings to be reused.... Best to just get a new hose or try with the shorter corrugated hose. If it was too short you likely had the rig adjusted too low
