We had another great BC's night dive. There were some bugs caught, including a very first one, by luik3. Congrats, Ken!

Thank you all for coming out to the dive. You are what makes the BC's what they are. And thanks Ken for being a great dive buddy, and hey, those newly learned skills look good on you underwater.

For those of you who missed this dive, there were great conditions, great company, and lots of laughs. And even a quick class on what to do with your lobster after you catch it. Hope to see you at the next one.

Rick

Rick and Jeff,

I so agree, a wonderful time with great friends. It is the diving that I so crave and didnt realize that this "pseudo-experienced" diver has missed.

A huge congratulations to Rob for an exemplary beach entry and exit. Definitely added a serious tool to his diving arsenal.

A commenurate hoo rah to Ken on his FIRST successful lobster hunt.

This guy is a rockstar, blink and this ADP slammin, lobster catchin' bright light will be a UICC instructor.

Jeff, you are the man! On scene lobster preparation was the mostest. Where did you pull the garlic and roux from as you lightly seared and basted. . . . .

(folks you just had to be there)

Rick you have created something special, and I am grateful to be a small part of it.

Great Thursday all,

T

Great time and great diving with good friends. That's what it is all about! Thanks to everyone for making it such a great night.

Caught my first legal lobster and ate it for dinner last night. Loved the impromptu mini-seminar by the truck last night on how to clean and cook it. Everything came out great! Also, since the days get dark sooner, we were able to get in the water earlier and managed to get out earlier. It was nice not having to clean gear past midnight and instead be enjoying my lobster dinner last night after my gear was already washed since I got home early enough. Thanks, Rick, for bringing the Beach Crabs together, for being my dive buddy and for watching over me last night catching the bug.

Good times, Everyone!

So how did your wife cook the lobster Ken

We ended up steaming it and then (per pick-up truck seminar) she made some garlic butter dipping sauce. I gotta admit though that we were both pretty jumpy when I pulled the antennae off and shoved it up the pie hole to get the mud vein. Unfortunately, she didn't heed the seminar comment about not naming it, so she named it "Uno", and I had a lot of guilt dismantling and eating him. :( :rofl3:

The shirt looked pretty awesome, Jeff. Did you guys end up going to Leo afterwards?

yeah we hit leo for another tank... we entered in a new spot and that kicked are butts! Thick kelp and grass made it real hard. I picked up another 2 lobster for a total of 3 for me and my friend had the 2 from deer creek. Cant wait to abuse em with the antennae trick just dont want to give Kristina any ideas!!!!!

So Ken after all the guilt was it worth it? Or are you done slaying the roaches of the sea...

Hope to see you all saturday

You guys are the young turks. . . .

Would you guys consider giving the withered old man in the drysuit a lobster to pie hole?:rofl3:

Prepare to bring your mad skills for Saturday's Beach Crab get together.

there will be a lot of hungry mouths clammoring for your expertise. . . pick up truck tailgate or not!

T

Jeff, you guys are animals heading to another site last night afterwards to catch more bugs. Glad to see that you two made out okay. You'll have to share your secret techniques on Saturday. ;)

See you all then!
