Guys I work here in Philippines as an instructor doing mainly Open Water courses. Last week we had 4 incidents where the deflate button on the BCs jammed so you could neither inflate manually or orally. 4 people we had to recuse at the end of the dive after this happened as none could inflate their jackets. We sent the units back to the manufacturer who says they have tested in TAP water and all work ok...even though one of the units was sent back in the jammed position. Its like they don't believe us! Jut a matter of time before a death occurs or maybe several. Out of 5 jackets 4 failed and the 5th we didn't try. Any ideas what we can and should do? I have told them they should do a recall but they accused me of harassment!

How overweighted were they that they couldn't swim up slowly?!? Just curious?
