We were on Roatan (West End) last week of July/1st week of August last year. Very pleasant, mid-upper 80's, almost always a breeze. Seas fairly flat, though a few 3-5' sea days. Viz maybe 50' or so--rather variable. Water temp was 83. (folks who dove the previous summer said water temp had been 90 then!). A few showers at night, some clouds but no heavy overcast days. Pretty idyllic, not what you would call HOT. Ah but no guarantees for this summer!

At that time the prevailing winds are easterliues meaning that it can get rough on the southside but it is unlikely to be too rough to stop diving. There always a slim chance of a Hurricane at that time of year but that is HIGHLY unlilkely.

The north side should be a flat calm.

They tend to bother thye bay islands october november time.

Yes it will be hot.
