Who said anything about over tightening things? I was actually loosening the cap nut to check the torque on the hex screw when it broke. I was using a torque wrench to check if anything was loose.
Edit: Guess I should have specified I used a torque wrench, thought it was obvious to those who work on compressors.

use what's left of your screw, no nut for tension, and get the thing running, before you spend

Yeah, German not my first language, LOL. Thanks so much for the workshop manual and mod 9 breakdown. I will DM you about the filter replacement purchase later and the 330 bar setting is what my compressor is set at now.OK, You may need to sharpen your German on one of these, but it is for your unit. I have also included a newer manual with better illustrations and specs, but it covers many of the units and most are much newer, however it is a wealth of information and perhaps some others would like this. Lastly, I included the parts breakdown of your MOD. 9 build for your reference as well.
