Trying to get some info on a Bauer compressor. This is what’s on the plate

Looks to be nearly 50 years old but looked a lot fresher.

I think the filters are repackable but are very small. Is there a larger filter option for these?

Any advice greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Following. I hope someone comes along with information. I love learning about these old units.

Great compressor, small brother of today's Capitano. It has an oil pump and low rpm which guaranties a very long life.
It has a separator after 2nd stage and one after 3d stage, great.
Filter is a filter-ony, not like today's Triplex filters.
I don't think filter cartridge is very small, I guess it will last for about 10 hours, but this is realy guessed only. Bauer Munich will answert this question, they have schedules for each compressor and filter system.
Yes, you can fix any other, larger filter. Coltri has a large filter tower at a reasonable price, I don't know actual details.
I am not sure if actual filter cartridge is repackable. Please take it out and make a photo.
Did you start the compressor? If not yet please first try to turn the wheel by hand, it must not be blocked.
Change oil befor running. Use mineral oil only.

Filter is repackable, we had it out of the housing. It's the same as the filter in this thread (should last approx. 10 hours) -

Unit runs smooth and quiet and holds pressure.
Trying to determine if it's worth buying over a new Coltri Icon LSE 100 as it's 48 years old and I'm thinking it'll need a bit more attention than a newer compressor.
Not sure what kind of price these fetch as I can find almost nothing about them online.

If it runs and makes pressure, probably worth $500usd. Throw another $500 in a filter housing and you have a nice machine for half the price of an MCH6.

I'm not familiar with that particular machine, but I would want to know what final stage valve it takes. I have some Bauers from the 70s that used a final discharge valve no longer made. When it fails you have to buy a new capitano head that accepts an available valve.

Coltri Icon LSE 100 is a very, very bad compressor. Coltri changed name from MCH6 to Icon, because www is full of bad experiences with MCH6. Any Bauer is much better, no matter how old it is.

I do not know if you will get parts for this Bauer, ask Bauer Germany, they are the only ones to answer this question.
