Absolutely terrifying. Flew Batik Jakarta-Sorong, Sorong-Yogykarta last year. All good but this is terrifying.

but yea, there is a reason indonesia has like 5 out of the 10 worst airlines for safety records. a lot of small airports that necessitate less reliable smaller aircraft, which then snowballs because less experienced pilots are put in charge of those smaller planes, spotty maintenance of both planes/airports, and the weather gets in the way too.

flying singapore air/eva/anz/quantas to jakarta/bali is probably the only safe flight involved
