Nice one

Absolutely amazing!! I am jealous!
It is a dream of mine to swim along side a Basking Shark. They are truly incredible sharks to observe!
I had the pleasure of seeing one on a deep sea boat trip, and even just a glimpse of the dorsal fin, caudal fin, and tip of the nose cutting the water was an experience I will never forget! :)

Looks almost cartoonish. Nice find, great video. Too bad they're almost completely wiped out of the West coast of Canada too.

Nice. Last one I saw was in 1976 off Santa Barbara Island. Such a shame that so many species of sharks have declined precipitously off the West Coast although I expect some to make a modest recovery in my lifetime due to bans on gill netting and long lining in California waters.

Too bad they're almost completely wiped out of the West coast of Canada too.
They rammed them with a specially built boat that had a spear on the bow. They were killed off for no reason other than to prevent boating accidents.
