Basic Scuba Discussions board full of dive gear topics

I don't know what the policies are regarding the Basic Scuba Discussions board, besides being a friendly place to welcome questions and a learning zone, but although equipment is a natural concern of divers, more than a learning place, this board is becoming a dump site for many equipment-related topics that are specific enough that I feel should be in their appropriate boards further down.
At the moment there are topics asking about Atomic gear, which drysuit hood to buy, Hog 1st stage, Dacor bcd, etc...
