Wow, 2 weeks huh? I am jealous! Sorry we'll miss you. Post when you're back, that will really whet the appetite for our trip!
We stayed at Sand Dollar at Christmas and dove Bari reef many times. It is a fantastic reef--not as pretty as some, but with great diversity. Front Porch (next door, towards downtown) is similar, also amazing for same reasons.
Anyway, we were all on the dive boat with Jerry and suddenly there is a dark shadow coming underneath the boat. At first we thought it was a careless diver. But it was a MANTA! Jumped in to try to see it better, but of course it swam away. Jerry said it was the first time he'd seen a manta in Bonaire in 16 years.
