lol...but not really lol NOW as I am back from Bari reef and in cold NYC again.:(

I hope you had fun. Where did you stay?

Thanks for you review of Bari reef and the biologist, B1gcountry. We'll have to try to hook up with him if possible when we stay at Den Lamen this coming July. We've stayed a couple of times at Buddy, which I believe is practically next door, and have enjoyed exploring the "house reef" in this area. Really nice reef, every time we've been there, with lots of life both day and night, but having a truly knowledgeable biologist as a guide one time would make it that much more fun to dive it again! Thanks again, Jim .

Great dive report...I've been fortunate enough to dive Bari ~10 times and each time I discover something new...Night dives with Charlie are an incredible experience and you never grow tired of watching him feed off your light...I actually caught him on underwater video:

We'll be back on the Island in late May...can't wait for my first Amstel Bright of 2008!

We took Jerry's class as well. and as the previous poster said. If you ask questions be prepared for Jerry to get excited and answer them in detail. That yellow frogfish was there last March but gone in October.

In March & October the seahorse was right next to the 'cog'.

Hey Jim, when in July will you be on Bonaire? We'll be at Den Laman the first 2 weeks of July, any chance we'll overlap with your trip?

Sounds like we'll just miss each other. We'll be there 7/20-7/27. We're meeting up with another great group of divers that we met threw SB (Herman and Deputy Dan, and friends), who first introduced us to Bonaire. It's always fun to know other divers: we dive together at times, with our own groups when we want, or often mix it up and you can pick the party doing something that interests you. Sorry if we wont see you. It's a lot of fun, and my teenagers get to dive with other teens (the girls even went horseback riding one day).
