Aren't there still stairs on the BD&A dock? Maybe pay them for a tank rental?

We've stayed at Sand Dollar and at Den Laman a few times each, always used BD&A, enjoyed the use of the dock. Easy entries and exits under all conditions, perhaps especially at night. Comfortable place to hang out in the sun for a SI without having to move your equipment

We leave the 27th. Maybe we could all have a happy hour cocktail :)

Sorry that I didn't reply earlier. I was enjoying vacation time offline and away from internet forums. We've mostly been hunkered down in our VRBO up on the hill near the water tanks in Santa Barbara for the past week, enjoying some downtime alone. This is our 8th consecutive 3 week Christmas holiday here and we've never seen so much rain for such an extended period. (Locals say it's been like this all month.) It's not "bad" but certainly different. The mondi is green and lush though and the local wildlife is happy!

No worries, we have been doing the same thing. We have found that dive sites without sand have the best viz right now due to all the rain. They say it hasnt rained this much much in 40 years... good to get it out of the way for next year :) Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
