Hey there, today we went to Bari by 9am, December 18,Sunday, there was a little chop or surf as we call in virginia beach, and it was quite stirred up until the drop off, but still a good dive as always. Where do most of you enter and exit the site?
I havent been to Bari for 6 months and today it was not the same Bari reef as it was 6 months ago, not sure if it was because of the tropical rain storm last night. We had a difficult time exiting, any helpful information will be appreciated.

You had a tropical storm last night?

it felt like one tursiops to me, it was very heavy rains and the palm tree limbs fell down around us. Perhaps that wasnt the correct term for you, but I have been in the carribean most of my life during different weather situations and when the winds are that heavy and the rain falls that heavy to me its a tropical storm

good grief, please do not dissect my weather report as the thread was for entry to Bari and extit from Bari, I have corrected it to say Tropical rain storm.

Hey Deedeediver. Sorry about the chop but you are diving in Bonaire so not too much sympathy from me!

When we were there in October there was a very easy entry path along the side of that little shack to the left if you are standing on shore looking at the water. At that time is was ridiculously easy but you know how Bonaire dive entries are constantly shifting. Let me know how it goes.

Yes I hear ya on the being on Bonaire diving :) Its always easy and no dying today, thank you. I will try again, its just been very strange lately at the normal easy dive sites. At Bari, I have always gone to the right next to Den Laman( but not entering where it says PRIVATE PROPERTY do not enter, never entered at the hut. but I will try that next time. Thank you so much for your response.
Did you exit there as well?, (smiling as I just read,,, no sympathy)

No problem. Yes entry and exit along a clear but narrow sandy path among the usual boulders. Not even a ledge to negiotate! We use to do the same, entering to the right at Den Laman. Even after they put up a barrier we just walked along the edge of the water for entry. But this last time we found the path beside the hut. I think someone must have cleared the area hoping to stop the entry at Den Laman.

How long will you be on the island? Mrs. WWGuy and I are headed your way tomorrow. With luck we'll eventually be arriving on the Tuesday Delta flight.

Aren't there still stairs on the BD&A dock? Maybe pay them for a tank rental?
