I'll go the other way on this.

I just bought two wetsuits, both Xcel. I tried the Henderson Hyperstretch, Harvey's and a Bare. The Bare was the most difficult of all for me to get on and had the worst fit. I eliminated that suit after trying on only one.

I eliminated the Harvey's when I couldn't get what I wanted in a one piece. The Xcel and Henderson were pretty comparable, except the Xcel had a velcro friendly exterior and fit me better.

I ended up with an Xcel 7/6/5 Infinity, a 4/3 Infinity, an Xcel 6/4 hood, and a pair of Harvey's 7mm gloves.

A poor fit on an individual does not necessarily indicate a poor suit. Different manufacturers use somewhat different patterns for their suits. For example, Picasso wetsuits are great freediving suits, but they don't fit me, too loose in the neck and chest. Omer suits happen to fit great. But both are fine suits overall. You just need to try on different manufacturer's suits (as you did) until you find what works for you.

ive used a bare 7ml wetsuit for about 4 years until i grew out of it. i lvoed it, it keeped me warm even in the cold socal waters. i also use bare glovees and i love them.

I have a Bare 7mm Arctic fullsuit, 7mm Arctic hooded vest, 3mm hooded vest, 7mm boots, 5mm gloves. I regularly use the Arctic 7's in water down to 45 degreesF for up to two hours and am fine. I got mine from Divers Wholesale for better than good prices and am quite pleased.
I have never had a suit fit so well straight off the rack. I plan on getting a Bare Velocity in either 5/4 or 3/2 before long.

I bought a 5/4 Velocity about a year ago, and it quickly became my favorite suit.
I took a chance and ordered it off the net based on the sizing chart. It is a little
snugger, and I usually need a little help with the back zipper, but a great suit
overall. Can't beat the price and quality.

I've been using a 3mm full wetsuit from Bare for years. It's held up well to the abuse. Recently purchased an XCD2 compressed neo drysuit, which I'm slightly less happy about. It's a well made suit, reasonably priced, but the fit of the suit does not match the suggested range on their sizing chart IMO. Getting that taken care of put me out of pocket a few dollars.

I have two Bare velocity fullsuits a 3/2 and a 5/4. I chose them because of the sizing options that Bare offers. For me an XL is a little too small while a XXL is too large. Bare's XLT fit just right (gee, kinda sounds like goldilocks and the bares...sorry bad joke)

I have a Bare Nex-Gen drysuit, and had a Bare ATR-HD for a couple of weeks while my own suit was in the shop for a neck seal replacement. Both are good suits - well-built, nice fit. This starts to become a little bit anecdotal, but everyone I know with a Bare drysuit has had a nice dry diving experience. On the other hand, I've know lots of people with other types of drysuits where they're had problems with leaky seams, etc.

I just bought a Bare 3-2 full wetsuit - can't wait to try it out in the Caymans in another month!

Do the Bare wetsuits run a little smaller than what their size charts suggest?

I'm looking into buying one of their SGS full wetsuits but the LDS doesn't have any of the sizes close to what I wear. He's going to have to order mine.
