Do any of you own the 2005 model of the Bare 7MM ALPINE HOODED FULL WETSUIT with front diag. zipper----COMMENTS?????

I have the hooded step-in vest with that zipper and like it. It's not bothersome at all and it lets you close your hood at the last minute and open it up as soon as your mask is off, real nice on a hot day topside. Works great UW too.

I wear it over an Arctic 7mm or my Velocity 5/4 as needed.

I also have the hooded step-in vest over my Arctic 7mm fullsuit. Only have 5 dives on it, but so far I really like it. I have the flexibility to take the 7mm fullsuit only when it wrams up (I have a 5mm hood that I can use) but also have 14mm over my core with an attached hood for "normal" diving.

I have this suit. 3 years and I love this suit. Flexible and warm. I also have the 2 piece Arctic with the outer step in hooded vest. I find the Arctic stiff and limiting. I prefer the Alpine with a 3mm vest under or over. I dive So. Cal. and use the Arctic Oct.-April. I jump to the Alpine as soon as possible.
