Barbados, tortola bvi, st.vincent, grenada or st.lucia - p&o cruise in march 2013

Hi - Hoping for some info of Dive centres that pick up from cruise ships. We are on a P&O cruise and they are only doing 1 days diving in BVI and charging 150 Dollars!! so have decided to sort our own diving out. We have both done about 300 dives. We would like to do 3-4 days of diving on the cruise and have picked out the following places we stop at for a full day:

BARBADOS
TORTOLA BVI
ST.VINCENT
GRENADA
ST.LUCIA

Hoping, someone can recommend some dive centres that pick up from the cruise terminal. Thanking you in anticipation......... Chris

Hello -

I am going on a cruise in a week and I just booked through Scuba Steve for St. Lucia (Scuba Diving in St Lucia, Snorkeling in St. Lucia: Scuba Steve?s Diving, PADI 5* Dive Center, Rodney Bay) and The Dive Shop for Barbados (https://www.divebds.com/index.php): they both provide free round trip transportation for cruise passengers.

On Tortola the cruise operator is probably either We B Divin or UBS Scuba. Both are in Roadtown so maybe try the other one. If you have enough time in port, the RMS Rhone is a good dive. All your options: BVI Scuba

In Barbados I would recommend Eco Divers, Rogers Scuba Shack or High Tide Watersports - each of these operations is not too far from the Cruiseship berth.

St. Vincent has 2 dive operators, Dive St. Vincent and Indigo Dive, if you have a group then I am sure a pick up in Kingstown will be do-able, however if it is just you you may have to take a taxi. Dive St. Vincent is situated at Young Island dock, Indigo Dive is located at the Buccament Bay Resort.

In both cases you should make contact to confirm if the operator can assist you and confirm your place on the boat.

Hi Kay, Steve and Sherry - Thanks for all the info, Have just booked Barbados and Grenada. In Barbados we have booked Barbados Blue Water and Grenada we have booked Aquanauts again as have used them before. Just finalising BVI at the moment. Thanks again for the info - only32 days to go.............. can't wait. Chris
