The wife and I are looking at going to Barbados in January. All my diving is in Massachusetts in either a Dry Suite or a 7mm(hood, gloves, boots), Would a 3mm be sufficient this time of year? I am pretty cold tolerant with the local diving and can handle 50F in a 7mm for two dives.

If anyone has recommendations on a hotel that would be great too. It looks like the Hilton resort is directly adjacent to the well known dive shop.
