I would think that a NE swell would make the Paradise & Pulisan areas undiveable ...

What I was expressing is that there are two shores in the Strait : hence in any situation there should be at least a side of the shore that can be dived.
As for Paradise pier, I would not be surprized it could be dived 365/365, since it is in a protected bay, dived the spot on feb and and august, didn't see any difference as for sea conditions.
