Velociraptors = Theropoda, while Komodo dragons = Squamata

As understood today, these are very different branches of the reptile family tree.

But sure, they share some ancient ancestor, one much older than velociraptors (and it's a good scene).

My point is that the Monitor lizard - Komodo dragon comparison is as absurd as the turkey - raptor comparison.
