kneptoon- did you do anything but dive at menjangan?

Is that a sin? Seriously we did go for a bike ride. I can't be too much help regarding top side stuff in Menjangan. We usually land and stay in Sanur to recover from the flying. From there we hit Ubud and prowl around the south before heading up to Menjangan. I have heard the National Park is a must see. Well, some day.

Not a sin, but my buddy is missing the dive infront of her name. Sounds like ill be staying in Sanur and making the 2-3 trips to the dive sites. Small price to pay.

Well I just finalized my booking with Mimpi Menjangan. I decided to spend all 6 days there. They gave me a nice discount for a package that combines the accommodations with the dives, and includes dinners and transfers as well.

As for topside stuff, Asawa at Mimpi informed me that the desk at the Mimpi can assist with all manner of tours for the non-diver, and that there is plenty to do nearby. Personally, I think it's rather more convenient for the NON-diver to have to make a bit longer of a trek to see what they want to see! The diver has all that gear to cart, plus a boat ride...:D I do realize we're fortunate, tho, in that we've got three weeks there so we can spread our time around to different spots on the island.

Now I've just got to figure out where we're going to stay in Seminyak and Ubud...

Hello everyone...

I just joined scuba board and I'mn from Indonesia. I have some quick info abot Bali in my website http://indonesiandiver.nechmars.com
if you have any question, feel free to shoot me an email.

I frequently travel to Bali and always enjoy land tour and underwater tour as well. I would say anyone will enjoy it (non-diver or diver), cause there are so many thing that you can do. Especially now there's a new highway that cross the island. It make travelling from Tulamben to Kuta only 2-3 hours.

Have fun!!

Wow, I just checked out your website -- great info! I've only glanced at it, so I have to read it more thoroughly. I'm sure I'll have a number of questions for you. Thanks, and welcome to Scubaboard!

Thanks! Will be my pleasure to be able to share some info.

Have you ever dove the Alor area?...if so how do you compare to Raja Ampat area out of Sorong (Sorido resort)?

Hi travelnsj,

Unfortunately, I have not been to Alor area. But I do have friends who been there and in comparison with Raja Ampat, you can't compare these two places. Each of thiese places have it's own beauty. If you want any detail about these two places, I can give you some references base on my friends experiences.

Where are you located?

Cheers,
