I agree. Nitrox is so much better as a breathing gas. :P

Or saw a 1 kg weight in half.
 
Buy some lead melt and pour it in a muffin tin you can make them a light as you want
or up to three pound depending on the muffin tin. Do not do it indoors.

I feel if I am not balanced left and right I seem to roll slightly to the heavier side which increases resistance.

Buy some copper plated shot.
 
Luckily I can get one pound soft weights. You might try to make your own. Just sew up some type of bag and put in the amount you need of copper bb's.
