Hello everybody,

Thanks many of you who shared your opinions in my previous threads about the equipment. I finally decided to go with this setup:

SeaQuest Balance BC
Tital LX regulator
ABS octopus
Veo 180NX dive computer

I could get all of this about $1080 at my LDS. What I like most about this shop is that they charge for BC and regulator annual inspection only $15! Much cheaper than other shops in the area. They’ve been in the business a little over ten years.

What do you think about the setup? I think it would be good enough for a new diver like me. :-) If you ever used any items listed above or have any suggestions, please share your experience. I plan to go buy it sometime next weekend. :-)

Thank you!
PS. Just found out that Veo 250 can do four additional alarms that 180NX cannot do:

Set max depth alarm
Set elapsed dive time alarm
Set Max Nitrogen tissue loading bar graph alarm
Set dive time remaining alarm

Are these alarms important or useful or just "nice to have"?

Thank you!

Sounds like a good deal. Remember the 2 most important decisions in buying gear; get familiar with it, and know where to get it easily serviced.
