Turn the light on then unscrew it a little at a time until it's off. Then push on the face of the light with the palm of your hand. That will make it come on. Unscrew a little more and repeat untill pushing on the front of the light (fairly hard) no longer makes the light come on.

It won't come on at depth and it won't flood.

I learned the same technique from Uncle Pug ... but my lights still flooded.

BTW Mike - a digression, but I'm wondering who's the author of your sig line?

I have no idea.

I took it off of a joke email my father sent me and the author wasn't named.
 
it's all over the net... i haven't seen an author identified, but then again, i've never

I wish. Been there, done that, have the soggy batteries to show that this technique doesn't always work. :wink:
